¨ No previous Synchro experience is required ¨ Swimmers must be: - Comfortable in deep water - able to swim 25 meters unassisted (Except for Aqua Giggles) - tread water for 30 seconds |

Aqua Giggles (ages 4-6) |

This program is a fun based program that actively involves your child in the beginnings of Synchronized swimming. They will take part in a creative dance component, followed by basic swimming along with an introduction to the skills required for synchronized swimming. They can meet new friends for lots of fun while being active and learning new water skills. Contact Saanich Rec for classes and times. |

The Focus of this program is FUN! The program is designed to gradually and systematically teach the basic skill of Synchronized Swimming in an environment that is enjoyable, creative and supportive. They will meet new friends and along with their own individual accomplishments, learn the concepts of being part of a team. · The program teaches skills based on the Synchro Canada Star Awards Program. · The program is presented in 10 star levels · Your child will receive a Synchro Canada Star pin for each level they obtain · Your child will enjoy 1 1/2 hours of Synchro Fun once a week. · Your child will also participate in club watershows! Equipment · one piece bathing suit · Bathing cap · Goggles · Nose clip Times: Mondays 4:00 - 5:30 pm Tuesdays 5:30 - 7:00 pm Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:30 pm Dates: Fall Session - October - January Spring Session - February - May Costs: $160.00 per session or $40.00 per month (with post dated cheques) |

Not a kid anymore but still want to learn the sport of Synchronized Swimming, or not interested in competitive swimming and still love to participate at a recreational level?Then the “Synchro For Teens” program could be for you! |
Synchro For Teens (ages 12 and over) |

This program is geared to the teenage swimmer who is just beginning Synchro or wants to continue at a recreational level. You will continue to progress through Synchro Canada Star Award program on an individual basis while enjoying the sport as part of a team. You will participate in club watershows as well as have an opportunity to compete at one competition at the end of the year (optional). This level swims twice a week for 2 hours. It is a great opportunity for learning new Synchro skills while making new friends and keeping fit in a fun filled environment. Equipment · one piece bathing suit · Bathing cap · Goggles · Nose clip · Black one piece bathing suit and white bathing cap (if attending the competition at the end of the year) Times: Mondays & Wednesdays 4:00 - 6:00 pm Dates: Fall Session - October - January Spring Session - February - May Costs: $280.00 per session or $70.00 per month (with post dated cheques) Additional Expenses - travel and accommodation expense for competition in Vancouver |

This program is for the swimmer that has passed Star 2 and is thinking that maybe they might like to try a competition. While still recreational and fun focused, this full season program introduces the athlete to the more competitive realm of Synchronized Swimming. The swimmer will be part of a team that will compete in May. They will train 2 times a week for 2 hours. They will enjoy the comradery of a team, along with their own personal accomplishments while working toward a common gol. Member of this team will also participate in club watershows. Equipment · one piece bathing suit · Bathing cap · Goggles · Nose clip For the Competition you will also need: · Black one piece bathing suit · white bathing cap · Competition suit (to be determined later) Times: Mondays & Wednesdays 4:00 - 6:00 pm Dates: October - May Costs: $560.00 per session or $70.00 per month (with post dated cheques) Additional Expenses - travel and accommodation expenses for competition in Vancouver |
